Wolves are said to be leading the race for West Ham defender Matthew Upson on a free after the Hammers were relegated.
Boss Mick McCarthy is on the lookout for new signings over the summer to bolster his squad after they managed to stay in the Premier League on the last day of the season.
It has been quiet on the transfer front at Molineux so far but McCarthy has said he wants to land some experienced top-flight players and Upson is available after the Hammers were relegated.
Upson is out of contract at Upton Park and will be among several star exits to leave with plenty of clubs interested in the centre-back.
However, Wolves are thought to be leading the race for him and McCarthy hopes to sort out a deal for the former Arsenal and Birmingham man in the next few weeks.
