Villa star still wants out

England international Stephen Warnock still wants to quit Aston Villa despite the recent departure of Gerard Houllier.
The full-back was frozen out of the first-team picture by the outgoing Villa boss and forced to train with the kids after a bust-up with the Frenchman last year.
Warnock watched on as Villa struggled at times without him but despite talks to try and resolve the dispute, a resolution was never reached and a parting of the ways seemed inevitable this summer.
However, even a change of management is unlikely to change the 29-year-old's stance as he is now determined to make a clear break according to sources close to him.
Wigan, Bolton and Stoke are thought to be in the running for his signature and could land the player for £5m less than Villa paid to Blackburn for his services two years, with a fee of £2m now being bandied around.
