CAPELLO TALKS UP BENT QUALITIES

Fabio Capello says Darren Bent will be an important figure for England when they face Switzerland in Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier at Wembley.
The Italian believes Bent has improved considerably in the last 12 months, having left him out of his squad for the World Cup last summer and with Wayne Rooney and Jermain Defoe unavailable through suspension and injury respectively, he is essentially Capello's first-choice frontman to face the Swiss.
Capello said: "I know him very well, in the box when he sees the ball he scores goals, I hope on Saturday he will do the same.
"(In) my career as a manager, some players were not so good when they were 20, 21, 22. But after they improved.
"Sometimes it's important which team you play in, and the relationship with the manager, the private life. It's impossible to know the future. It's important for us that Bent has improved a lot and he is scoring a lot of goals."
Capello defended the decision of some of his squad to go away on holiday before returning to training for this game, and said he wanted his players to take a break next summer prior to the Euro 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraine.
He added: "If we play the Euros I want to see the players for two weeks, 10 days. They will go to holiday then, and after we will start preparations for the Euros.
"I learned a lot at the World Cup, I learned the players are rather tired at the end of the season.
"I think (being) on holiday is good, they recover their forces, their mind energy. It is really important."
John Terry insisted he was delighted to have Rio Ferdinand back alongside him in defence.
The Switzerland game will be Ferdinand's first for England since he lost the captaincy to the Chelsea skipper earlier this year.
"I'm delighted seeing him come back from injury at Manchester United and he's been different class in the Premier League and the Champions League," said Terry.
"I'm delighted for him to be back fully fit and alongside me."
Ferdinand was unhappy with Capello's handling of the captaincy situation, but Terry insists there are no problems between him and his team-mate.
"No, not at all," he said. "There're no problems between us, like there wasn't when he got the armband."
Terry insists Capello's relationship with Ferdinand is also fine.
"I think not only between those two, but with everyone," he added. "I think over the years the manager's relationship with everyone has got better.
"I think there's a really good balance at the moment.
"It's been a really relaxed atmosphere over the last three or four months which is good. There are a lot of young players in the squad fighting for places so training has been very intense and enjoyable."
Terry claimed there was no communication problems between Capello and the players.
"He understands what makes us tick. The communication between the players and the management has been fantastic."
Terry also added fitness was not a concern at the end of a long season.
"The players are in good condition," he said.
